A flying visit to view property

Another important event that took place this month was a flying visit to France to meet our new landlady before she left France for the winter to visit Family in Germany.

We have decided to initially rent a property before we take the plunge and buy. It also gave us the opportunity to rent out our house in England to our Son as he did not have a place of his own just yet. It gave us both a bit of breathing space.

Were back on track

Apologies for the lack of postings, we have not been able to keep up to date with our blog as we have had so many other important things to attend to.

We thought we would need to take some professional financial advice before moving to France, so went along to see a very helpful gentleman at Blevins Franks. They were able to advise us on all aspects of topics including National Insurance payments, Tax planning, Wills, Investments to name but a few. If you are planning a similar move it is vital to speak to someone who knows as it can be costly to put right if you do the wrong thing.
